Backlash on Sir Michael Wilshaw on absent dads.

Angry parents hit back after Sir Michael Wilshaw pointed the finger at absent dads for the surge violent crime.

Many took to social media to accuse Sir Michael of blaming them for failing to keep their kids under control and describing his remarks as an "insult".

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Sir Michael said young people were turning to violence as they had no father-figures to guide them.
