Super sized classes on the increase.

More than half a million primary school pupils in England are being taught in classes of up to 35 children, according to Labour. In every year since 2014, over 500,000 primary schoolchildren are sitting in classrooms of more than 31 children, with the latest figure for this year placing the overall total at more than 542,000. Around 39,000 pupils are being taught in classes over 36, while more than 16,000 are in rooms with 40 children, an analysis of local authority figures shows.
